She is an Assistant Professor since 2009. She has completed her Ph.D in 2002 and has worked with National and International Organizations such as UNDP and National Institute of Oceanography. She teaches Developmental biology, Cell biology and Biodiversity for UG courses and is a recognized teacher for PG course from Mumbai University. She made her contributions to Speakers forum and since 2012 she is the NSS Program Officer of the College unit.
