She is an Assistant Professor since 2008. She completed her M.Sc. in Animal Physiology and Ph.D from Mumbai University. She qualified the CSIR-NET in 2006. She is a Ph.D guide recognised by University of Mumbai and her area of research includes Drug discovery and development, Drug interaction and Invertebrate biology. She teaches Biochemistry, Animal Physiology, Toxicology, Geneticsand Instrumentation to UG and PG classes.She is theSecretary of Institutional Animal Ethics Committee, Member of Research Advisory Committee, Assistant Editor for college Magazine ‘Harmony’ and is on the Editorial Board for R.J Herald, a quaterly editorial of the College.
