SCHOLARSHIP

A scholarship is a financial aid for a student to further their education. Scholarships are awarded based upon various criteria. Scholarships are granted by College, Trusts and Governments.This page will give you information about various scholarship which students are entitled to-

State & Central Government Scholarship

Candidate annual family income should be upto 8 lakhs

Candidates admitted to diploma/degree/post graduate professional courses having 60 % or more marks and family annual income less than or equal to 6 lakh are eligible for this scholarship.

 

Eligibility

  • (as per gr dated 07.10.2017 & 31.03.2018).
  • Income certificate less than 8 lakh.
  • Annual income certificate issued from tehsildar.
  • As per govt. Resolution first two children eligible for the scheme.
  • Courses from gr 07/10/2017 (DHE courses) can apply.
  • Applicant should be domicile of Maharashtra.
  • Applicant should not avail any other scholarship or stipend.
  • Minimum 50% attendance in previous semester
  • (exception for fresh admitted in college)
  • During course duration candidate should not have a gap of 2 years
  • Only Maharashtra state and Karnataka state border (only district belgaum) can apply for this scheme. Students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.

Document required

  • Annual income certificate issued from tehsildar.
  • Family declaration certificate about two children.
  • Applicants domicile certificate.
  • Receipt of exam fees.

Overview

  • Education concession to the children of Ex service’s man is given No. MIS1465/H,Date:23/11/1965

Eligibility

  • (As Per GR Dated 14.01.1985)
  • Students should be Son/Daughter/Wife/Widow of an EX-SERVICEMAN
  • Only government and aided college.
  • Maharashtra Students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.

Documents Required

  • Eligibility Certificate issued by collector and president of DSSA board.
  • Admission receipt
  • Domicile certificate

Overview

  • Those students who admitted for Post Graduate and obtained 60% marks in arts commerce and low graduation and 70% marks in Science graduation are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  • Parental annual income should not exceed Rs. 75000
  • Student should resident of Maharashtra
  • Students should not work full time or part time. Selection of Candidates is on merit basis

Eligibility

  • (As Per GR Dated 07.02.1996 & GR Dated 05.02.2004)
  • Students must graduate from Law commerce & Arts having 60% marks and for Science students must have 70%.
  • Annual income of the applicant parents should be less than/equal to Rs.75000/- limit.
  • The applicant must be a resident of Maharashtra State.
  •  The beneficiary should not do a part-time or full time job anywhere.
  • Maharashtra Students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.

  • Annual Income Certificate issued by Tahsildar.
  • Previous year Mark sheet.
  • Domicile Certificate.

Overview

  • Sanction Set – 1208 Students Admited in Arts Commerce Science Law Graduation are eligible for application.
  • For Fresh – Candidate must secure 60 Percentage in 12th standard.
  • New sanction process done through DHE office and Renewal sanction process done through joint director office of concern colleges. Selection of Candidates is on Merit basis.

Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a resident of the Maharashtra State.
  • Need to get at least 60% in 12th standard.
  • Only applicable for stream Arts Commerce Science and Law.
  • Maharashtra students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.

Documents Required

  • Previous Year Marksheet.
  • Domicile Certificate.
  • Bonafide Certificate .

Overview

  • Sanction Set-100 (Maths 50 Physics 50)
  • Students admitted for Science graduation and having Maths or Physics as a main subject are eligible to apply this scholarship.
  • For Fresh – Candidate must secure 60 Percentage in 12th standard.
  • He is not awarded any other scholarship of State & Central Government.
  • Candidate must be resident of Maharashtra state
  • Selection of Candidate on Merit Basis.

  • Need to get in 12th std with at least 60% in Science exam and more than 60% in Maths & Physics.
  • Maharashtra studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.
  • The applicant must be a resident of the Maharashtra state.

Overview

  • Educational concession to the children of Ex-service’s man is given No.MIS-1465/H,Date: 23/11/1965.

  • Students should be Son/Daughter/Wife/Widow of freedom fighter.
  • Maharashtraian Students Studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme

Overview

  • Jawaharlal Nehru University Scheme is started by Jawaharlal University for Maharashtra Among the students from Maharashtra studying in that University one Student is selected by University according to GR.SCH1082/151160/(2173)/GEN5,DATED 07/05/1983.

Eligibility  

  • (As Per GR Dated 07.05.1983)
  • Maharashtrian students who studied in JNU. Quota is only for 1 decided by JNU.
  • UG and PG (JNU Students) are applicable for that scheme.
  • Domicile of Maharashtra.

Overview

  • Concession to the children of SC/OBC/VJNT/SBC/ST and Physically Disable students for Junior/Degree College.

Eligibility

  •  Income certificate less than 2.5 lakh. (SC/ST)
  • Income certificate less than 1 lakh. (OBC/VJNT/SBC)
  • Annual income certificate issued from tehsildar.

College Scholarship

  • College supports the students under “Earn While you Learn” Scheme where the students work for around 4-6 hours in the office and departments and they are paid Rs. 50 per hour.
  • Few teachers support the students personally by paying their tuition fees.
  • College pays the fees the students who are excellent in sports.
  • Alumni also support by paying the fees of needy students.

"BHOJRAJ SCHOLARS" Scholarship Program

College has signed an MOU with Seth Bhojraj Hassomal Charitable Trust  for BHOJRAJ SCHOLARS Scholaship Program  to students who have been enrolled in professional courses (Unaided Courses) by providing financial Support to economically backward Meritorious (scholarship of 50% of their annual course fee).

About our Trust

SBHCT was established in the year 1969. It was formed with the prime objective of giving back to the
society, for improving the quality of life of people. The Trust is run with a lot of passion to propagate the philanthropic vision of the Honorable Trustees. The Trust supports a span of worthy causes by supporting various NGOs/Organizations that operate with less privileged communities in India. Our primary focus is to broadly support projects in the areas of Health care, Education and Women empowerment, with the core aim of alleviating poverty in the Country. The model of implementation is to partner with likeminded NGOs/Organization’s in the relevant field.

This scholarship support is commencing from the academic year 2018 –
2019 for a period of 3 years. The Institution will identify the eligible students and the final approval will be given
SBHCT.

Eligibility Criteria:
1) Minimum 60% in HSC (XIIth).
2) Family income not more than 3 lakhs per annum.
3) The applicant should not be availing any other scholarship.
4) The applicant should be from the open category and the unaided section.
